Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is a standing committee of the LAPC. The TAC provides input on plans and studies, prioritizes Surface Transportation Program-Urban (STP-U) applications, and recommends actions to the Policy Board. Members of the TAC include engineers and planners from LAPC-member governments, representatives of modal interests, staff from public transportation and regional planning agencies, and representatives from federal and state transportation agencies.

The TAC meets at 2:30 pm on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November and as business dictates. All meetings will be conducted as hybrid meetings, with in-person attendance occurring in Room 1107 of the La Crosse County Administrative Center and remote attendance occurring through Microsoft Teams.

2026-2031 Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STP-U) Applications in the LAPC Urban Area

LAPC is tentatively allocated $6,705,342 for the 2026-2031 STP-U cycle. This number represent estimates for planning purposes only, as future programmatic funding levels are dependent on forthcoming Congressional and Wisconsin State Legislative actions.

The following project applications were submitted by eligible municipalities in the LAPC urban area and are to be reviewed and prioritized by the TAC for recommendation. Click here for a summary of the projects and funding.
