HIV Rapid Testing is available for free to anyone 14 years of age and older by appointment only. This Rapid HIV test is a finger-stick test. To make an appointment or for further questions call 608-785-9872.

HIV Partner Services
La Crosse County Health Department offers free and confidential HIV Partner Services for anyone living with HIV residing in a 7-county area including Buffalo, Crawford, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon Counties.
If recently diagnosed or living with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), LCHD HIV Partner Services can assist with notifying sex partners and/or needle-sharing partners that may have been exposed without sharing your name. This can help partners find testing, start treatment or take steps to prevent HIV in the future.

Where can I get barrier methods in La Crosse County?
Residents in the 7-county area diagnosed with HIV, or providers who wants to refer someone to the program, please call La Crosse County Health Department at 608-785-9872.
Wisconsin residents living outside the 7-county area, please call the Wisconsin HIV Partner Service Team at 608-266-3031.
Wisconsin residents who received a combined diagnosis of HIV & Syphilis, please call Wisconsin Department of Health Services at 608-266-1323.
