The Coulee Region Tobacco Free Partnership is a tobacco prevention coalition formed by three Wisconsin Counties: La Crosse, Jackson, and Monroe. We work to achieve the following vision and mission.
Vision
Communities empowered to live tobacco and nicotine free.
Mission
Promoting tobacco and nicotine-free living in La Crosse, Jackson, and Monroe Counties through education, advocacy, and outreach for all.
The partnership is funded by the Commercial Tobacco Prevention and Treatment Program at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
What We Do
Decrease youth access and initiation
Increase cessation services
Increase Smoke-free air
The word "tobacco" on this page refers to commercial tobacco, not traditional Native American tobacco or sacred tobacco. Sacred tobacco is used as a medicine for healing; offerings to the creator; and spiritual gifts to express gratitude, show respect, and ask for prayers or advice.
Community connectedness and engagement is important to us. If you're interested in joining our coalition or receiving our quarterly newsletter, email us at Healthweb@lacrossecounty.org
