County Board

Planning, Resources and Development Committee
The Planning, Resources & Development Committee (PRD) acts as the policy oversight committee for Land Conservation; Zoning, Planning and Land Information; Register of Deeds; County Surveyor; and University Extension. The PRD Committee promotes the development of comprehensive county-wide resource conservation programs; handles all matters pertaining to County planning and zoning and long range development plans; deals with issues concerning the Farmland Preservation Program; and agriculture and extension education.

This committee oversees the following departments:
County Surveyor, B. MeyerLand Conservation, M. Hanewall
Register of DeedsUniversity Extension
Zoning, Planning & Land Information, K. Stewart

Meeting Information

Busines Meeting: 4:00 P.M. Monday before *Committee Week
Public Hearing: 6:00 P.M. same day as Business Meeting
Tour date: 8:00 A.M. Friday the week before Public Hearing
*Committee Week shall be the week before the County Board meets
