Experience what it may be like to live with dementia. In living “in their shoes” we create compassion, understanding and can make changes to enhance the quality of life for our community members living with dementia. The ADRC of La Crosse County, Dementia Friendly Community Coalition and both Gundersen and Mayo Clinic Health Systems, have partnered to bring this dementia awareness simulation to the community!

    • Parking is available in Lot C (southwest corner of South Ave and Green Bay St)

This experience is free and open to the general public as well as family and friends who are caregivers, not for people with dementia or Alzheimer's Diease. Registration for January and March events will be available soon. Please check back or call the ADRC at 608-785-5700 for more information.
