Participation in WRS is automatic for employees working more than 1200 hours/year. Employee contributes a percentage of gross wages which is matched by the County. Plan includes disability and death benefits. |
Employee and employer shares are established by WRS annually. The rate for 2021 is 6.75% of the employee's gross wages.
