Recreation Therapy and Volunteer Services

Our Recreation Therapy staff, joined by volunteers from the community, offer a variety of opportunities for involvement.

Participating in creative and meaningful activities is a vital part of the physical, spiritual and emotional well-being of each person. From baking, crafts, resident council, live music and community outings to one on one visits, exercise and special programming for those with dementia. There is something for everyone. Together our goal is to maximize each resident's ability.

                                                                             Getting to know you!

Does your loved one enjoy baking? Was he known for his garden?  Maybe, your mom was famous for her desserts or your dad was an avid golfer? We want to know!

Getting to know our residents allows us to provide the best quality of care & compassion in all we do.  Please complete the "Getting to Know You" form upon admission.  On this form, employees will learn what type of routine your loved one is familiar with.  Please share specifics such as accomplishments they are proud of, and any other important information about them.  Our entire team will use this information to initiate meaningful conversation!  Please return completed forms to the front desk.  They will be posted on the bulletin board in their room.

Contact Brooke Smith with questions or for extra forms!  Thank you.
