Electronics Recycling
The La Crosse County Hazardous Materials program is starting a recycling program for your unwanted electronic items. Did you know that many electronics contain heavy metals like lead, mercury, and cadmium? Electronic waste (E-waste) can be recycled at the Hazardous Materials Facility for a small fee during the following schedule:
Fees:
$0.10 per pound for all e-waste (excluding TVs)
$0.20 per pound for all TVs
Schedule:
E-waste is accepted during the programs normal operating hours: By appointment every Tuesday and Thursday 9am – 4pm (call 785-9999)
Walk-ins welcome every Wednesday 10:30 am – 6 pm
Walk-ins welcome every 1st and 3rd Saturday each month 9 am – Noon.
