Immunizations

 

Immunizations help reduce the amount of communicable disease in a community. Immunizations are available at local pharmacies, health care agencies and local health departments. Call 608-785-9872 to learn about eligibility or to schedule an appointment at La Crosse County Health Department. Vaccines for Children: Childhood vaccines are available to eligible children ages 6 weeks through 18 years of age. To qualify, children must meet one of the following criteria:

Vaccines for Adults:  Vaccines are important for adults too! Visit Adult Vaccine | DHS to learn more about adult vaccines. The Vaccines for Adults Program provides free vaccines to adults 19 and older for those uninsured or underinsured. Call 608-785-9872 to learn more about vaccines available at La Crosse County Health Department.

COVID-19 Vaccine: COVID-19 vaccines are free to everyone ages 6 months and older. Vaccines are available at local pharmacies, health care agencies and local health departments. Visit COVID-19: Vaccine | DHS to learn more about COVID-19 vaccines.

Mpox Vaccine: Monkeypox Vaccine is free to everyone meeting eligibility criteria. Visit Monkeypox: Vaccine | DHS to learn more about Monkeypox vaccine.

Influenza Vaccine: Annual Flu Vaccines are an important step to drastically decrease the likelihood that you will get sick from the flu. For more information on flu prevention, visit Flu Prevention | DHS. Flu vaccines are available at local pharmacies, health care agencies and local health departments.
