Help with Medicare Costs and Prescriptions Drug Costs

Recently the Aging Department in La Crosse, Vernon, Monroe, and Jackson Counties and the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) received a grant to help identify people who may be eligible to receive financial assistance for paying for prescription drugs and monthly Medicare premiums.  Eligible households could qualify for up to $5,000.

Anyone on Medicare with a monthly income of $1,225.13 per month (or less) for an individual, or $1,654.88 per month (or less) for 2 people with limited resources/assets may be eligible.  For more information call the ADRC at 1-800-500-3910.
