“33 Express” Connecting Hillsboro and La Crosse

Regional coordination provides new transportation opportunities.

Regional coordination between Vernon, Monroe and La Crosse Counties has created a new transportation opportunity for residents of all three counties.

Beginning Monday June 28 the “33 Express” will begin its new route from Hillsboro to La Crosse via Highway 33, with stops in Ontario, Cashton, St. Joseph Ridge and ending in La Crosse where travelers may connect with the La Crosse Mini-Bus or the MTU bus system.

Next the “33 Express” will return to Cashton to assist those with appointments at Scenic Bluffs Clinic.  Then back to La Crosse and a return trip along Highway 33 to Hillsboro.

This public transportation which runs Mondays and Fridays is available to anyone; the one way cost will be $6.00 which includes connection with La Crosse public transportation. The bus will leave from Hillsboro at 8:00 am and return later in the afternoon. There will be Travel Trainers available to assist with transfers in La Crosse.

This initiative is federally funded through the Supplemental Transportation Rural Assistance Program (STRAP) Grant submitted by the La Crosse County Aging Unit, and is part of the coordinated planning of Great Rivers Ride Quest, Western Wisconsin’s Multi-county regional transportation coordination committee.  BROCHURE     Free Ride Coupon
