CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:31 a.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment.
PLANS FOR THE LEC ADDITION
The CJMC had indicated they would like to see an overview of the plans for the new LEC Addition.
Val Schute presented a brief overview of the jail addition, along with a sketch of what the building will potentially look like.
REVIEW THE CAREY GROUP RECOMMENDATIONS AND PRIORITIZE MONTHLY REPORTS
Due to time constraints, this was not covered in depth, however at the March CJMC committee meeting, we will begin discussing the women’s community based program, which was where we left off.
17 YEAR OLDS AND JUVENILE JUSTICE
Jerry Huber had asked that the 17 year old & juvenile justice be put back on the agenda. This wasn’t discussed at today’s meeting, but will be put on next month’s meeting using the Problem Solving and Decision Making Process.
APPROVAL OF THE JANUARY 16, 2008 MINUTES OF THE CJMC
MOTION by Burke/Gonzalez to approve the January 16, 2008 minutes of the Criminal Justice Management Council carried unanimously. (Montabon, Perlich, Larson, Doyle, Huber, Helgeson, Johnson, Schwandt & Kusch excused)

1. Women’s Community Based Program Status
2. 17 Year Olds and Juvenile Justice using the decision making process
3. Continuation of Carey Report Recommendations
4. Report on Warrant Issues
