CALL TO ORDER

Tara Johnson, HHS Board Chair, called the meeting to order at 5:46 p.m. 

RESOLUTION RE AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF THE WOMEN’S COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAM

MOTION by Hampson/Kannenberg to approve the resolution which authorizes Justice Sanctions to contract with YWCA to provide services for the Women’s Community-Based Program effective February 1, 2008 through December 31, 2011.  A 2-page exceptional analysis is attached to the resolution that explains the RFP and selection process.  Services include support for the following: 1) vocational, 2) personal, 3) family/social, and 4) life needs.  Noted $250,000 in the 2008 budget for this program; any capital expenditures for the program will come back to the County Board for consideration.  Motion carried unanimously; Glasser, Thompson, Schippers excused; Pfaff absent.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Board Chair Johnson declared the meeting adjourned.  The meeting adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
