ALCOHOL/DRUG DEPENDENCY TREATMENT

Tomah VA Medical Center offers both resident and outpatient treatment for veterans with alcohol and other drug abuse problems.

The resident program is 28 days, and at the conclusion of the program the veteran may choose to be enrolled in outpatient follow-up counseling.

VA also offers a dual diagnosis program: treatment for veterans who suffer from both drug/alcohol problems and emotional or psychiatric disorders. An AODA and psychiatric treatment team, work together to provide effective treatment for the complicated problems of mental illness combined with substance abuse.

More information can be obtained by calling the Tomah VA AODA program at 608-372-1758.
