La Crosse County maintains public cross-country skiing trails at the following locations. Each location varies in difficulty but all are very scenic areas and well maintained.

La Crosse County has six snowmobile clubs that jointly cooperate to offer over 130 miles of safe, groomed trails. With the Coulee Region's many bluffs and scenic river valleys, our trails are some of the most beautiful in the Midwest. Several motels in the area cater to individuals as well as clubs. The trail is approx. 15.5 miles from North Bend through Burr Oak to Shanty Town. There several eating places along the trail. There is also approximately seven miles of trails on private land behind Good Times Saloon in Burr Oak, WI (Open to club members only $20.00 single ATV per year-$25.00 family ATV's per year). Our trail are gorgeous, winding, steep and include several waterfalls with water crossings you drive by and over.
